Scott Eastman

Scott Eastman is an experienced forecaster specializing in geopolitics, epidemiology, and economics. Currently, Scott serves as a Superforecaster at Good Judgment, Inc. and holds positions as a Pro Forecaster with Metaculus, a Forecaster with the Swift Centre, and a Pro Forecaster with the RAND Forecasting Initiative. Scott has contributed to significant forecasting studies related to existential risks at the University of Pennsylvania and worked as a Forecasting Consultant for EpidemicForecasting.org at the Future of Humanity Institute. Scott's professional background also includes founding Eastman Photo, working as a university lecturer, and advising the Mayor of Avrig, Romania on EU transnational projects. Scott holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently pursuing a PhD in Philology/Linguistics at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu.
