Rick Turner

Rick Turner has a range of experience in the event industry. Rick started their career as the Director of Catering at SMG Facility Management from an unknown start date to 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they served as the Executive Director at The Forum Conference and Education Center. Rick then moved on to become the Director of Business Development at Event Source from 2008 to 2012, where they oversaw the development of the Pittsburgh and Detroit markets. From 2010 to 2015, they were a Co-Founder and Partner at Emerging Chefs. Rick then served as the New Business Development Director at Colortone Staging & Rentals from 2012 to 2016, where they marketed the company and established partnerships. Following this, they became the Regional Director of Business Development at Extraordinary Events from 2016 to 2020, where they created and produced special events worldwide. Most recently, since 2018, they have been working as an Event Consultant at Forward Hospitality Group, where they create unique and dynamic event environments.
