Jacob Moore has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency medicine. Jacob currently holds the position of Chief of Emergency Medicine at Good Samaritan Medical Center, a role they have been in since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine at the same hospital from May 2022 to May 2023. Jacob also held the role of EMS Director from May 2019 to May 2023 and Director of Quality from September 2019 to March 2020. Jacob Moore is also an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine since February 2019. Before joining Good Samaritan Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine, they worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Steward Health Care from June 2014 to present. Additionally, they served as the Interim Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center from May 2021 to May 2023. Jacob Moore began their career as an Emergency Medicine Physician at the University of Chicago Hospitals in 2011 and worked there until June 2014.
Jacob Moore completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at Williams College from 2000 to 2004. Jacob then pursued pre-medical studies at Columbia University from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they attended the University of Toledo College of Medicine from 2007 to 2011, where they received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree specializing in emergency medicine. From 2011 to 2014, they completed their residency in emergency medicine at the University of Chicago.
