Nickesha Francis

Nickesha Francis is an experienced professional in the fields of policy and advocacy, social work, and program management. Since November 2015, Nickesha has served as Policy and Advocacy Manager at Good Shepherd Services, following a role as Senior Program Analyst. Prior experience includes several positions at The Children's Village from July 2001 to May 2015, such as Assistant Director of Polo Grounds CC, Aftercare Case Manager, Transitions Coordinator, and WAY to Success Coach, as well as a position as Psychiatric Technician. Additional relevant experience consists of a Juvenile Justice Internship at the Correctional Association of New York from September 2013 to May 2014 and a Forensic Social Work Internship at the Legal Aid Society from January 2013 to August 2013. Nickesha holds a Master's of Science in Social Work with a focus on Public Policy Analysis from Columbia University (2013-2014) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Mercy University (2001-2004).
