Behavioural Science Lead at Good With

Dr Victoria Root has a diverse range of work experience in the field of neuroscience and data analysis. Dr Victoria most recently worked as a Behavioural Data Scientist at Good With starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were a PhD student at the University of Oxford from October 2018 to May 2022. During their time at Oxford, they focused on studying the neural mechanisms behind phantom limb pain using neuroimaging and behavioural data. Dr Victoria also designed unique experimental paradigms to further their research. Before their PhD, Dr Root worked as a Research Assistant at UCL from May 2017 to September 2018, where they contributed to various research projects. Dr Victoria also completed a Masters degree at UCL from September 2016 to September 2017, specializing in tactile training and motor control. Dr Victoria'sthesis on this topic won the Shallice Prize, and they were recognized for ranking in the top 5% of the Faculty of Brain Sciences. Overall, Dr Victoria Root has a strong background in neuroscience research, data analysis, and experimental design.

Dr Victoria Root completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at The University of Manchester from 2010 to 2013. Dr Victoria then pursued a Master of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL from 2016 to 2017. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Oxford from 2018 to 2022.
