Jeremy Brooks has over 8 years of experience in the coffee industry. In 2013, they began their career at Verve Coffee Roasters as a Quality Assurance Specialist, where they managed contract development and procurement processes for over 1 million pounds of product. In 2015, they moved to Flat Track Coffee as the Director of Business Operations, where they were responsible for executive level business operations, contracts, construction, and permits. In 2016, they were promoted to Vice President of Coffee Operations at Tartine Bakery, where they were responsible for strategic purchases and contract negotiations, as well as the development of annual forecasts, operations budgets, and strategic business plans. In 2019, they returned to Verve Coffee Roasters as Head of Supply Chain and Green Buyer, where they were responsible for oversight of all company inventory management and purchasing. Currently, they are the Director of Supply Chain at Goodles.
Jeremy Brooks obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Texas State University between 2006 and 2010. Jeremy has obtained additional certifications, including Python Full Stack Developer from Coding Dojo in February 2022, PCQI from SCS Global Services in October 2017, Business Administration from UCLA Extension, FSMA from SCS Global Services, HACCP from SCS Global Services, and Licensed Q Grader from Coffee Quality Institute.
