Emma Russ

Emma Russ serves as an Assistant County Attorney for Goodhue County since October 2022, focusing on prosecuting misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor crimes and preparing cases for court. Previous experience includes roles as a Judicial Law Clerk for both the Minnesota Judicial Branch and the Iowa Court of Appeals, where Emma evaluated motions, conducted legal research, and participated in trials. Early career positions involved work as a Summer Associate at CALIFF & HARPER, P.C., a Student Attorney at the Olmsted County Attorney's Office, and legal assistant roles at Ritts & Associates Law Firm. Emma holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Carleton College and a Doctor of Law from the University of Iowa College of Law.
