Dana Tomlin currently serves on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Tomlin’s teaching and research focus on the development and application of geographic information systems (GIS). He is the Founder and Co-Director of Penn’s Cartographic Modeling Laboratory, originator of Map Algebra, and a member of the GIS Hall of Fame
