Hope Chang, PharmD, AAHIVP has extensive experience in the pharmacy field. Hope is currently working as a Clinical Strategy Associate, Product at Omada Health. Prior to this, they were a Medical Content Reviewer at GoodRx, where they created and reviewed patient-friendly drug information pages to improve health literacy.
Hope also worked as a Clinical Pharmacist (PRN) at LeafLine Labs, LLC, where they provided pharmaceutical care to patients. Hope has freelance medical writing experience from their time at Ro.
Hope's previous role was as an HIV Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at Sutter Health, where they managed a large patient panel and developed policies and procedures for a specialty pharmacy program. Before that, they worked as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at UC Davis Medical Center, where they provided medication management for various disease states and played a role in improving opioid stewardship.
Hope's early experience includes a project internship at Baylor College of Medicine. Overall, they have gained a diverse set of skills and knowledge throughout their career in pharmacy.
Hope Chang completed their education in the following order:
1. From 2007 to 2011, Hope Chang studied Biochemistry at the University of Minnesota.
2. From 2011 to 2015, they attended Howard University, where they earned their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree with a focus on Pharmacy.
3. In 2016 and 2017, they pursued a postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency with an emphasis on ambulatory care in HIV at the University of California, Davis.
