Jeff Plemmons

Jeff Plemmons has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Jeff is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at GoodShip, a pre-seed shipping software startup, where they specialize in React/Node development. Jeff joined GoodShip in June 2022 as one of the first group of employees.

Prior to their current role, Jeff worked as a Full Stack Engineer at PayPal from December 2019 to June 2022. Before that, they served as a Software Engineer at Google from August 2018 to December 2019. Jeff also gained experience as a Technical Architect at Apple from August 2017 to July 2018.

Jeff's earlier work experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Overstock.com from July 2015 to August 2017. Jeff also worked at Deutsche Bank as an Assistant VP/Lead Developer from August 2014 to June 2015 and at IBM as a Senior J2EE Analytics Architect from March 2013 to July 2014.

Jeff also worked as a software developer at BB+T from May 2011 to June 2012. Jeff's earliest work experience dates back to their role as a software developer at LSSI from August 2005 to August 2010.

Jeff Plemmons earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1994 to 1997. Jeff later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at North Carolina State University, which they completed between 2012 and 2015.
