Selin Yigitbasi-Ducker

Selin Yigitbasi-Ducker is the Co-Founder, CEO & Chairperson at Goodsted. Selin has over 6 years of experience in marketing and management.

Selin started their career as a Management Trainee at dentsu international in 2014. Selin then became the Marketing Manager at Brand Finance in 2016. In this role, they were responsible for developing marketing plans and strategies to achieve sales targets, conducting market research, customer questionnaires and focus groups, when required, monitoring competitor activity, and attending relevant sector events such as conferences and seminars.

In 2017, Selin became the Marketing Executive at Pınar Süt, where they were responsible for supporting the export department with regards to brand management, keeping track of and reporting about the marketing performed by the distributor, periodically reporting and tracking the price points of Pinar and competitor products, researching and reporting on the consumer trends in the market, and contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies to achieve sales targets. Selin left Pınar Süt in 2020 to start Goodsted.

Goodsted is a social enterprise that helps connect talented refugees with employment opportunities. Selin is passionate about social impact and creating positive change in the world. Under their leadership, Goodsted has helped over 1,000 refugees find employment in their field.

Selin Yigitbasi-Ducker's educational career includes a Master's Degree in MA Design & Innovation from Goldsmiths, University of London, as well as Interaction Design (UX/UI) and HTML, CSS & Web Design Circuit courses from Designlab and General Assembly respectively. Selin also has a BA in Business and Management with Proficiency in French from the University of Exeter, and is certified in UXQB - Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience - Foundation Level from iSQI GmbH.
