Vivek Thakkar

Vivek Thakkar, CMT has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Vivek is currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing at GoodVets starting from February 2023. Before this role, Vivek held positions at Groupon, where they served as the Director of Growth Marketing from September 2021 to February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Manager of Growth Marketing from September 2020 to September 2021 and the Chief of Staff from November 2018 to September 2020. Additionally, they worked at Frontenac as a Private Equity Associate from July to October 2018. Vivek began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lincoln International, where they worked from July 2015 to June 2018.

Vivek Thakkar, CMT, obtained a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance & Accounting from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2015. Vivek also earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts in the same year. Prior to attending college, they obtained a High School Diploma from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in 2011. Additionally, Vivek has obtained various certifications, including the Chartered Market Technician designation from the CMT Association, Inc. in 2021 and 2022, as well as the Series 63 and Series 79 examinations from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2015.
