Cphr Sophie Sauve

Sophie Sauve, CPHR, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Sophie currently serves as the Director of People & Culture at Goodwill Industries of Alberta, where they lead and manages all human resource functions. Prior to this role, they held positions within the same organization as the Manager, Team Experience, HR Business Partner, and HR Generalist. Sophie also has experience as an HR Administrator at Goodwill Industries.

Before joining Goodwill Industries, Sophie worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Pro-V Manufacturing LP, where they were responsible for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes. Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience as a Student Programming Coordinator at the University of Alberta Students' Union and as a Floor Coordinator at Lister Hall Students' Association.

Sophie's work experience also includes roles as a Team Leader at the Brander Gardens After School Parents Association, where they supervised children and organized recreational activities, and as a Volunteer Coordinator Assistant at the Edmonton Humane Society, where they recruited and trained new volunteers.

Sophie Sauve, CPHR, has a diverse education history. Sophie began their academic journey at the University of Alberta, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agriculture with a focus on Animal Sciences. Sophie attended the university from 2009 to 2013.

Following their undergraduate studies, Sophie pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Strategic Management and Organization at the University of Alberta. Sophie completed this program from 2013 to 2015, further expanding their knowledge and skills in the business field.

In 2019, Sophie returned to the academic realm to enhance their expertise in adult learning and workplace practices. Sophie enrolled at the University of Calgary and successfully obtained a certificate in Adult Learning with a specialization in Workplace Learning. This program spanned from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their educational achievements, Sophie Sauve holds several certifications that contribute to their professional development. Sophie obtained the Personality Dimensions Facilitator Level I certification from CLSR Inc. in September 2021, enabling their to effectively facilitate personality assessments and workshops. Moreover, Sophie earned the Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation from CPHR Alberta in August 2021, emphasizing their mastery in HR practices and principles.
