Mary Ara M.s.

Mary Ara, M.S., CPA, is a skilled data scientist with a strong background in data analytics and finance. Currently employed at Goodwill Industries of Alberta, Mary has successfully automated data transfer processes and enhanced efficiency using Python and SQL. Previous experience includes a data science internship at iNeuronltd, where Mary developed an image-to-speech application for healthcare professionals, and serving as a subject matter expert assessor for data science programs at Evergreen College. Mary has also held various roles in finance and accounting, including financial controller at Core Real Estate Group and senior staff accountant at Koshman & Schaaf LLP. Mary holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Eastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, alongside another Bachelor’s degree from the University of Buea.
