Tanzalea Daniels

Tanzalea Daniels is the current Chief Financial Officer at Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio. Prior to their current position, Tanzalea served as the Director of Finance and Administrative Operations at The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland from October 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for leading and overseeing all financial and administrative activities for the organization, including preparation of financial reports, goals, objectives, budgets, compliance, payroll and human resources functions. Tanzalea was also responsible for development and preparation of management tools, summaries and forecasts for future growth to support the strategic plan.

Prior to their role at The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, Tanzalea served as the Controller at the Detroit Zoological Society from January 2016 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the organization's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Before their roles at the Detroit Zoological Society and The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, Tanzalea served as the Finance Manager at LafargeHolcim in the US from October 2005 to January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Tanzalea Daniels has a background in finance from Butler University - Lacy School of Business and a certification from University of South Florida Muma College of Business in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace. Tanzalea is currently enrolled in the Allstate Foundation Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
