Benjamin Haydon

Benjamin Haydon has a strong background in business development, workforce development, and public relations. Benjamin'smost recent role was as the Manager of Public Relations and Community Engagement at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Specialist at the same organization from June 2017 to September 2021.

From October 2015 to June 2017, Haydon served as the Director of Business and Member Development at the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers. Before that, they worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky in various roles, including Business Services Coordinator at the Education & Workforce Development Cabinet from October 2013 to October 2015, and Internal Policy Analyst II from April 2012 to October 2013. In these positions, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting reviews, providing technical support, overseeing projects, and conducting trainings.

Haydon's career in workforce development began at the Bluegrass Area Development District, where they worked as a Workforce Specialist from December 2009 to April 2012.

Benjamin Haydon completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Community Communications and Leadership Development, with a focus on Public Service, from the University of Kentucky. Benjamin attended the university from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
