Sandra Plazas has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sandra started their career in 2000 as a Front Desk/Accounts Payable Clerk at Distinctive Finishes, LLC, where they worked until 2004. From 2005 to 2007, Sandra worked at Centex Homes as an Accounts Payable Specialist. Sandra then joined True Value Company HQ in 2008 as an Accounts Payable Coordinator. In 2010, Sandra joined Merits Health Products as an Accounting Specialist and later took on the additional responsibilities of a Payroll Clerk. Sandra's tenure at Merits Health Products lasted until 2013 when they joined Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida. At Goodwill, they initially served as an Accountant I before becoming the Microenterprise Program Coordinator. From 2013 to 2022, Sandra held the position of Program Manager Community Ed, where they played a crucial role in offering life-changing opportunities to individuals with disabilities and disadvantages. Recently, Sandra has been appointed as the Director of Community Education at Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida.

Sandra Plazas obtained a High School Diploma in General Studies from Mariner High School in Cape in the years 1992 to 1996. Sandra later pursued further education and obtained an Accounting Technology A.S degree in Accounting from Edison State College between the years 2009 and 2011. Additionally, Sandra Plazas earned a certification as a QuickBooks Certified User in March 2017 from Florida SouthWestern State College.
