Liana's earlier experience includes managing financial education programs for low-income families at CFED, as well as overseeing knowledge management at The Warner Foundation. Established in 1965, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is a nonprofit organization that connects people to opportunities to find gainful employment and meaningful work. With more than 25 retail stores and 30 donation sites, Goodwill uses proceeds from the sales of donated goods to fund skills training and employment services offered free of charge to thousands of people in our community each year. Through its retail stores, donation sites, the Goodwill Opportunity Campus, and partnerships with employers and other organizations throughout the region, Goodwill builds pathways for people to uncover their passions, enhance their skillsets, and pursue the life they want to achieve for themselves and their families—creating a brighter future for all.
