Karen Dykstra-Nylen

Karen Dykstra-Nylen is an experienced educator and trainer with a robust background in career and technical education. Currently serving as an Achieve Instructor and Curriculum Coordinator at Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids since October 2011, Karen has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Grand Rapids Community College since September 1999. Previously, Karen held the position of Employment Services Trainer at Michigan Works!/Grand Rapids Community College from April 1998 to August 2011, where responsibilities included conducting workshops focused on job search skills, resume writing, interviewing, budgeting, and computer basics. Karen earned a Master of Science in Career and Technical Education from Ferris State University between 1999 and 2002.
