Sue Dobbs

Vice President Human Resources at Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids

Sue Dobbs has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and organizational development. From 1993 to 2015, they worked at Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, where they served as the Director of Organizational Development. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing employee development, support services, and training. Sue also facilitated and led cross-functional work teams, organized senior level development programming, and managed continuous education efforts and policies, including tuition reimbursement for employees. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Director of Workforce and Employee Development, where they continued to contribute to the growth and development of the organization until 2018. From 2018 to the present, they have held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids.

Sue Dobbs holds a Master's degree in Management from Cornerstone University, obtained from 2011 to 2013. Sue also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University and an Associates degree in Early Childhood Development from Grand Rapids Community College. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in October 2019 and a Real Estate Salesperson certification from the State of Michigan.
