Dave Petersen

Dave Petersen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Goodwill Industries of San Antonio, Dave also holds the title of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Development. As the owner of Mako’s on the Creek since 2013 and an independent consultant at Petersen Solutions, Dave has advised major defense contractors on strategic development and operational issues. Previous roles include Executive Vice President and Interim President and CEO at the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at USAA, and a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, culminating as Commander of the 80th Flying Training Wing. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Military Strategic Studies from the US Air War College and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
