Chandra Kumar

Chandra Kumar has extensive work experience in the senior living industry. Chandra started their career at Marriott International in 1996 as an Assisted Living Manager at Bedford Court. Chandra then joined Sunrise Senior Living in 1999 as a Healthcare Administrator at Maplewood Park Place. In 2009, they became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator at Friends House Retirement Community. In 2014, they joined Erickson Senior Living as an Associate Executive Director at Riderwood Village, and later moved on to become Vice President and Executive Director at Greenspring Village. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Goodwin Living.

Chandra Kumar has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Management of Aging Services from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. They also hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Maryland. In addition, Chandra has a certification as a Nursing Home Administrator from the Maryland Board of Nursing Home Admins.
