Timothy Martin

Timothy Martin has a diverse work experience in the golf industry. Timothy started their career as a Junior Golf Assistant at St Andrew's Golf Club, where they trained and mentored junior golfers. Timothy then gained practical knowledge in course maintenance as a Green Staff member at Worthing Golf Club. At Parkstone Golf Club, Timothy worked in customer service and administration, focusing on providing efficient reception services and managing the club diary. Currently, they are employed at The Goodwood Group, starting as a Golf Operations Supervisor and progressing to Assistant Golf Operations Manager. In their various roles at The Goodwood Group, they have been involved in organizing golf events and overseeing golf operations.

Timothy Martin began their education at The Weald School, where they completed their secondary school education from 2006 to 2009. Timothy then went on to attend Worthing College from 2009 to 2011, earning a Diploma in Sports Management. Later, Timothy pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management with a specialization in Golf at Bournemouth University from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Timothy has also obtained several certifications in club management. Timothy completed the Management Development Programme Level 1 from the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) in December 2020, followed by the Management Development Programme Level 2 in November 2021. Most recently, in February 2022, they obtained a Club Management Diploma (CMDip) from the same institution.
