Gary Vanderlind

Gary VanderLind is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. As the chief human resources officer, Gary is responsible for fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring all associates are inspired to realize their full potential and contribute to the long-term growth and success of the company.

VanderLind has more than 30 years of experience in human resources, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for Goodyear’s Americas business. He joined Goodyear in 1985 in the retail team, during which time he managed four different company-owned stores and learned about Goodyear’s business and culture from the ground up. Since that time, Gary has held human resources leadership roles in North America and Europe and across the company’s corporate and global functions.

VanderLind has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Human Resources from Ohio University. He lives in Jackson Township, Ohio with his wife Lisa.
