Akin Koyuncuoglu

Akin Koyuncuoglu is a skilled technical leader with extensive experience in hardware systems design. Currently serving as Technical Lead at Google since August 2021, Akin previously held several significant positions at Intel Corporation, including Head of System Hardware Engineering and Director of Hardware Engineering within the Barefoot Division of the Data Center Group, where design and development of data center switch platforms were key responsibilities. Earlier experiences include hardware engineering roles at Arista Networks and Cisco Systems, contributing to high-speed digital board design and mentoring teams. Akin's career commenced at Vestel, where collaborative hardware design for embedded systems was undertaken. Akin holds an MBA from San Jose State University and an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
