Ken Mixter is a distinguished engineer at Google, with a career spanning over two decades in software engineering and technology leadership. Since joining Google in 2007, Ken has played pivotal roles, including building the AR/XR platform, leading software architecture for Google Nest, and overseeing machine intelligence and computer vision initiatives across multiple products. Notable achievements include founding the Google Home speaker and contributing to ChromeOS development. Prior to Google, Ken served as Director of Engineering at Green Hills Software and co-founded Inventure, Inc. Ken holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master's degree from UC Santa Barbara.
