Krista Phillip

Krista Phillip (Rappoccio) is an experienced educator and leader with a diverse background in teaching and educational administration. Krista served as an In-Service Teacher Trainer at Hunter College, where mentoring in-service teachers and assisting them in securing positions within the NYCDOE was a key focus. As Head of Education, Training, and Learning at Move United, Krista implemented national strategies to enhance disability access through sports, while also establishing the organization's first DEI Leadership Team. Additional roles include serving as a Pedagogy Instructor at The Gilder Lehrman Institute, a Global Learning Product Lead at Google, and various positions within the NYC Department of Education, such as Principal Apprentice, Instructional Coach, and Professional Development Coordinator. Krista holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Quinnipiac University, as well as multiple graduate degrees in educational leadership and social studies.
