Mahendra Singh Meena

Mahendra Singh Meena is a seasoned technology professional specializing in machine learning and data science, currently serving as a Senior ML Software Engineer at Google since July 2024. Previously, Mahendra worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Meesho, where efforts concentrated on enhancing the search experience through advanced query understanding and retrieval techniques. At JioSaavn, Mahendra held the position of Director - AI/ML, leading AI initiatives to boost recommendation systems and search functionalities. Earlier roles include Principal Engineer - AI/ML and Tech Lead at Saavn, where Mahendra contributed to the development of music recommendation features utilizing collaborative filtering and content-based methods. Mahendra's academic foundation includes a Dual Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, earned in May 2014.
