Ming-Zher Poh

Ming-Zher Poh serves as a Tech Lead Manager and Staff Research Scientist at Google, focusing on Health Sensing AI/ML since October 2021. An Associate Member of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society since January 2015, Ming-Zher Poh previously led product initiatives at Verily Life Sciences, including the FDA-cleared Study Watch program for AFib detection and the clinical capabilities team for the Onduo diabetes management platform. As Co-Founder, Chief Scientist, and CEO of Cardiio, Ming-Zher Poh developed a widely successful heart rate monitoring app. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Medical Engineering and a Master's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University.
