Serhiy Kostyshyn

Serhiy Kostyshyn is an experienced engineering manager with a robust background in leading teams and driving software development across various organizations. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Google since May 2022, Kostyshyn manages a distributed team responsible for multiple services within Borg, Google's large-scale cluster manager system. Previously, as an Engineering Team Leader at Ocado Technology from January 2020 to May 2022, Kostyshyn oversaw engineering management of a team focused on the Ocado Smart Platform's promotions engine. Experience includes roles at Nokia as a Lead Software Engineer and Software Architect, and Thumbtack as a Software Engineer, among others, with a strong foundation in system architecture, project management, and customer engagement. Kostyshyn holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Automation with honors from Ternopil State 'Ivan Pul'uj' Technical University and has contributed to academia as an instructor at the same institution.
