Shameeka Emanuel is a seasoned professional in diversity and education strategies within the tech industry, currently serving as a Diversity STEM Strategist at Google since 2018. In this role, Shameeka evaluates challenges faced by historically marginalized students in tech and develops inclusive content for Google programs. Previously, Shameeka was the Program Lead for Tech Exchange, managing partnerships with HBCUs and HSIs, and redesigning computer science courses. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon, where Shameeka launched initiatives to increase K-12 exposure to Computer Science, and as Diversity Scholar Program Manager at Intel, where diversity workforce strategies were developed. Shameeka holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Systems and Computer Science from Howard University, and is currently pursuing the Stanford LEAD Professional Certification at Stanford University.
