Shauheen Zahirazami

Shauheen Zahirazami is an accomplished Machine Learning Software Engineering Manager at Google since September 2019, specializing in Cloud Accelerators ML and hardware integrations like TPU and GPU. Prior to Google, Zahirazami held multiple roles at Microsoft from November 2015 to August 2019, including Principal Machine Learning Engineering Manager, where expertise focused on Cloud Artificial Intelligence, ONNX, and benchmarking ML performance. Zahirazami's earlier experience includes leading software engineering efforts at Predixion Software, teaching at Concordia University and the University of Washington, and developing IT solutions at the National Bank of Canada. Zahirazami earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on control systems from Concordia University, alongside a Masters and Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics respectively.
