Yael Maguire

Yael Maguire is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and sustainability. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager of Geo Sustainability at Google since August 2022, Yael has held significant roles at Meta as Vice President of Engineering from September 2017 to June 2023 and as Director of Engineering at Facebook from July 2012 to September 2017. Prior to these positions, Yael was a Visiting Scientist at MIT from January 2010 to July 2012 and co-founded ThingMagic, where Yael served as CTO from September 2004 to October 2010. Yael earned a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1999 and 2004, following a degree from Queen's University from 1993 to 1997.
