Yury Kashnitsky, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the field of data science and artificial intelligence with extensive experience in deploying innovative solutions within dynamic environments. Currently serving as a Staff Generative AI Field Solutions Architect at Google since June 2024, Yury focuses on business-oriented Google Cloud Generative AI solutions. Previously, Yury held various roles at Elsevier, including Senior Data Science Manager and Principal Machine Learning Scientist, leading teams on projects involving Large Language Models and data integrity. Yury's career also includes significant contributions to machine learning education as a Machine Learning Evangelist at OpenDataScience, and impactful work as a Data Scientist at KPN and Mail.Ru Group. Educationally, Yury holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
