Alebachew Gelaneh

Ale­bachew Gelaneh is an experienced education consultant and program manager with a robust background in project coordination and leadership development within the education sector. Currently serving as a Consultant - National Project Coordinator at GOPA Worldwide Consultants, Alebachew is involved in the Sustainable Training and Education Programme (STEP III) in Ethiopia, focusing on the digitalization of core processes for TVET systems. Previous roles include TARGET Leadership CPD Specialist at Education Development Trust, where partnerships and regional school leader programs were prioritized, and Project Manager for EASTRIP under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which aimed at enhancing technical and vocational education in East Africa. Alebachew has held various academic and administrative positions, including roles at Jimma University and as an Education Program Officer at Camara Education Ltd., and possesses a Master of Education from Andhra University and a Bachelor of Education from Bahir Dar University.
