Julia Schäfer

Julia Schäfer is a Project Manager and Consultant at GOPA Worldwide Consultants since October 2022, specializing in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning. Prior experience includes serving as a Junior Project Manager at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability, focusing on investment facilitation agreements, and as a Postgraduate Research Fellow. Julia also worked as a Student Assistant at GFA Consulting Group GmbH and the University of Göttingen, contributing to data analysis and survey design. A Junior Consultant role involved supporting microfinance initiatives in Rwanda, and an internship at KfW provided early career experience. Julia holds a Master of Science in Development Economics from the University of Göttingen and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Economics from the University of Münster.
