Mitch McDowell

Mitch McDowell, CHMM, has extensive experience in occupational health and safety management. Mitch currently serves as the Occupational Health and Safety Manager at Gopher Resource, where Mitch oversees various safety-related responsibilities. As an Adjunct Professor at Polk State Corporate College, Mitch instructs on industrial safety under MSHA, OSHA, and Process Safety Management guidelines. In their previous roles at A-C-T Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc., Mosaic Co., PSI, and Florida Crushed Stone, Mitch has demonstrated proficiency in safety training, compliance, project management, and environmental remediation. Mitch holds a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Wofford College.
