Darren Batchelor

Darren Batchelor is an experienced Senior Tools Engineer at Retro Studios since July 2022, specializing in implementing custom video game technology. Prior to this, Darren held senior software engineer roles at Microsoft, where notable contributions included developing open-source feature code and enhancing application development strategies. At GE Healthcare, Darren enriched a WPF medical imaging application with new Windows UX/UI features and advanced the development environment using the latest technology. Experience also includes significant positions at Microsoft, etiVenture, Kroll Ontrack, and Nintendo, concentrated on software engineering, UX/UI enhancement, and technical support. Darren holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University, earned between 1998 and 2000.
