Ionel Mitel

Ionel Mitel possesses extensive experience in quality assurance and automation across multiple industries. Currently serving as a QA Manager at GoPro since February 2017, Ionel specializes in iOS Automation, utilizing Jenkins and XCTest. Previously, Ionel held the position of Lead QA Engineer at Deutsche Bank, focusing on Mobile Banking iOS automation with Appium and XCTest. Prior roles at Intel Corporation included QA Technical Lead and Senior Software QA Engineer, where Ionel managed test processes, defect tracking, and system testing across various platforms. Early career experiences include integration testing at Alvarion Ltd., web and backend testing at ITC Networks, and system support roles at Railroad National Company CFR and Constanta County Council. Ionel holds a Master's degree in Computer Networking from the University of Bucharest and a Bachelor's degree from Universitatea OVIDIUS din Constanta.
