Richard Lane

Richard Lane is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the electronics and audio industries. Currently serving as the Director of Electrical Engineering at GoPro since January 2022, Richard previously held key positions such as Senior Manager of Advanced Technology and Director of Hardware at Bowers & Wilkins, contributing to the development of innovative home A/V experiences. Richard's career also includes impactful roles at Quantum3D as VP Engineering, co-founding Calliope Waterworks, and managing video-wall equipment development at RGB Spectrum. Earlier roles involved significant engineering leadership and product marketing at Kaleidescape, Micronas USA, Pinnacle Systems, and Abekas. Richard holds a B.Sc(Eng) in Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London.
