Samuel Giffin

Samuel Giffin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Samuel is currently working as the Director of Data Operations at Gordian since September 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded IronUp in 2020 and served as a Co-Founder until April 2022.

From 2016 to 2020, Samuel worked at Informa in different roles. Samuel was the Managing Director of CostTrax and FleetSeek, leading the development and management of these products. Samuel also served as the Director of Data & Analytics, Asset Intelligence, where they managed analyst teams and implemented agile processes, resulting in increased data throughput and delivery frequency.

Before joining Informa, Samuel worked at EquipmentWatch as a Senior Industry Analyst and Industry Analyst. Samuel was responsible for maintaining valuation and rental rate products, conducting research, and publishing intelligence insights.

Samuel's earlier work experience includes roles at SC Thrive, where they served as a Research and Data Analyst and later as a Business Development Coordinator. Samuel also worked as an ESL Instructor at the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, implementing English language curriculum and teaching methods.

Additionally, Samuel was the President of Habitat for Humanity's Furman University Chapter and served as a Research Assistant at Upstate SC Alliance. Samuel was also a Hollingsworth Fellow at Furman University.

Samuel Giffin completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Economics from Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University between 2013 and 2015. In 2013, they also obtained a Certificate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Francis Marion University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Furman University from 2005 to 2009. Samuel'ssecondary education includes a Diploma from Lugoff-Elgin High School, which they obtained between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, Samuel Giffin obtained the Penton New Manager Certification from Penton in October 2016.
