Heather Lindsay

Program Associate, Science at Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation

Heather supports the full life cycle of grant development and management of the Science Program's Curiosity-Driven Science Initiative.

Prior to joining the Moore Foundation, Heather was a physics and chemistry peer learning facilitator, volunteer gardener at the UCLA Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden, and research assistant in Dr. Nathan Kraft's plant community ecology lab. While taking coursework in Costa Rica, she conducted independent research on freshwater quality. Additionally, over the past few years, she has been a lead science instructor for Camp Galileo and helped outfit customers for outdoor adventures at REI.

Heather graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in ecology, behavior, and evolution, as well as a minor in environmental engineering.
