Vagner Fonseca

Vagner Fonseca has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries.

Vagner began their career as a Treasury Financial Analyst at Janssen Inc. in 1988 and then moved on to Visteon Corporation, where they served as a New Business/FP&A Senior Analyst. In this role, they supported the presidency and directories of manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and marketing in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Fonseca then joined Ford Motor Company as an Internal Auditor Supervisor before moving on to become a Purchasing Controller. Vagner played a crucial role in analyzing supply contracts, negotiating strategies, and supporting the implementation of a new business model and government-incentivized investments.

After Ford, they held various CFO positions in different companies, including JPMorgan Chase Vastera, Sony Ericsson Brasil, Lenovo, DEDIC-GPTI, and BMC HYUNDAI S.A. In these roles, they were responsible for financial planning and analysis, treasury, controller's office, human resources, IT, and legal functions.

Vagner'smost recent position is as the Financial Director at Gordon Brothers, where they report to the Director Latam and Global CFO. In this role, their responsibilities include expanding business in Latin America, project control and reporting, tax planning, FP&A, cash management, and financial modeling.

Vagner Fonseca has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Universidade São Judas Tadeu, obtained between 1986 and 1990. Vagner also has an MBA in Executive Corporate Finance from the School of Economics, Business and Accounting at the University of São Paulo, completed between 1998 and 1999. Additionally, they attended the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP, where they earned a Technical School degree in Computer Science in 1985. Vagner has also pursued certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst - Level 1 of 3 from the CFA Institute.
