Carrie D. Tibbles

Chair at Gordon College

Carrie D. Tibbles, M.D., graduated from Gordon College in 1993 with a degree in biology and psychology. She attended medical school at Boston University and completed residency training in emergency medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

After residency training, Carrie joined the emergency medicine faculty at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she is currently the Director of Graduate Medical Education and the Vice Chair of Education in Emergency Medicine. An expert in medical education, she is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is also the Board Chair and Medical Director for Hope for the Children of Haiti, a school and orphanage in Port-au-Prince. Dr. Tibbles also serves as a Board member at World Relief.
