Dorothy Boorse

Professor of Biology at Gordon College

Dorothy Boorse is a Professor of Biology and Aquatic Ecologist at Gordon College, where Dorothy has been teaching since January 1999. In addition to academic responsibilities, Dorothy is a co-author of the textbooks "Environmental Science: Toward a Sustainable Future" (11th and 12th editions) published by Pearson North America since January 2008. Dorothy Boorse earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oceanography and Limnology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Science (MS) in Entomology from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Gordon College.
