Dr Kate Maxfield

Dr. Kate Maxfield currently serves as a Board Director at South Gippsland Hospital and holds consultancy and academic positions at Gordon Legal and Monash University, respectively. With experience as a Medical Officer at Latrobe Regional Hospital and previously serving as a Hotel Quarantine Doctor at HCA Healthcare, Dr. Maxfield has a diverse background in healthcare. In addition to past leadership roles in medical rescue operations during the Victorian bushfires and as an Alpine Doctor, Dr. Maxfield's academic credentials include a Graduate Diploma in Disasters & Development from King's College London, a Diploma of Arts in Political Science and Government from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery - MBBS with Honours, also from Monash University.
