E. Dion Young

E. Dion Young obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 1989. After that, he attended law school at Southern University in Baton Rouge, graduating in 1994 with his Juris Doctor. He then began a career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Fourth Judicial District.

Over the course of his career, he had over 60 jury trials, including numerous murder and capital cases.

He also began to specialize in jury selection on personal injury cases, in which he has picked over 15 juries in civil trial cases. He has tried numerous cases with his largest verdict being 4 million dollars in a wrongful death case. He has settled many cases during his career totaling millions of dollars; however, He prides himself on having happy clients. He has always strived to keep his clients informed and comfortable throughout a case, which can sometimes become lengthy.

He is licensed to practice in all Louisiana Courts, including appeals and the Supreme Court, all Federal Courts in Louisiana, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has argued before the Louisiana Supreme Court on several occasions with published opinions.
