Mark Grift

Mark Grift is an experienced Security Operations Manager currently leading the Security Operations Centre at Gore Mutual Insurance since September 2021. In this role, Mark directs security operations and spearheads the development of a robust Identity and Access Management program. Previously, as Security Operations Lead and Security Operations Center Manager at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) from September 2005 to September 2021, Mark established and managed an advanced SOC to mitigate cybersecurity threats and protect critical infrastructure. Mark's career at IESO includes various roles in IT infrastructure and security, advancing from a Desktop Support Specialist to acquiring expertise in Telecom, Network, SAN, and Security Engineering. Additionally, Mark has held positions at Guelph General Hospital and Nortel Networks. Mark holds an education from Conestoga College.
