Tomás Swinburne has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Junior Leader at Kildare Youth Services, a voluntary position. In 2011, they began working as a Shop Assistant at 99 Cents Only Stores, gaining experience in retail and logistics. From 2015 to 2016, Tomás worked at Emerald Media Group 新岛周报 as a Translator & Journalist, conducting interviews and publishing them on the platform. Tomás is currently a Senior Marketing and Technical Writer at Gorilla Technology Group.

Tomás Swinburne obtained a Master's Degree in International Communications from National Chengchi University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese and International Business from Technological University Dublin between 2011 and 2015. Tomás also participated in an Exchange Year at Minzu University of China between 2013 and 2014, and a Summer School Program at Renmin University of China in 2014. Additionally, they were a Third Place Winner in the Chinese Bridge Competition in 2013 and 2015.
