Niclas Holst Sonne is an experienced equity partner at Gorrissen Federspiel since March 2021, with a focus on tax law and private equity matters. Niclas serves as the Nordic representative for the Tax Committee of Invest Europe, contributing expertise on tax issues impacting European Private Equity and Venture Capital since December 2020. As chair of Aktive ejere's tax committee since March 2022, Niclas continues to shape discussions on tax policies. Previous positions include partner and co-head of International Tax & Transaction Services at EY, owner and partner at Horten, and associate professor of tax law at Copenhagen Business School. Niclas holds a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen and a Master of Tax Law from the Danish School of Public Administration, and is admitted to the Danish bar as well as high courts.
